Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4, 1954) is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a range of awards including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also won two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In the year 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. She first came to the attention of an actress in 1974, as an actor in The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. She was a part of the principal ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. The next year, O'Hara and Candy began work on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984) in which she received the attention of critics for both her performance as a comedic actor and writer, securing an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for an Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
